Pinecrest, Cleveland’s newest mixed-use district by DiGeronimo Companies and Fairmount Properties, took home Gold (the top honor for mixed-use developments) in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Global Awards for North American Design and Development.
The ICSC Design and Development Awards recognize excellence in innovation and creativity in the U.S. and Canada retail real estate industry. Pinecrest was awarded Gold in the New Developments category on Thursday evening, December 5, at ICSC’s three-day CenterBuild conference in Phoenix,AZ.
“DiGeronimo Companies, along with our partner Fairmount Properties, are honored to be recognized among so many of our outstanding industry peers with this prestigious national recognition,” said Kevin DiGeronimo, principal, DiGeronimo Companies. “ICSC’s recognition of Pinecrest for this award is a validation of our philosophy of building trust with stakeholders before building the real estate. The success of Pinecrest is a result of the relationships we built with our codeveloper, consultants, the city, and the tenants.”
