Flour, the celebrated Italian kitchen and bar known for bold flavors, creative technique, and welcoming hospitality, is expanding with a brand-new location at Valor Acres in Brecksville, Ohio. Set to open Fall 2025, Flour at Valor Acres will bring the same chef-driven energy and beloved dishes that have defined the original Moreland Hills location, while introducing unique new touches designed specifically for the Valor community.
“We're thrilled to bring our passion for exceptional dining and genuine hospitality to Brecksville with our new location at Valor Acres,” says Chef Matthew Mytro, who will lead the restaurant’s kitchen and concept. “At Flour Moreland Hills, we've dedicated ourselves to building a restaurant where both guests and staff feel at home, and we're eager to extend that same warm experience to the Brecksville community. We love the vibrant spirit here and are excited to grow alongside Valor as it blossoms.”
Flour at Valor Acres will be a high-energy, chef-led neighborhood restaurant that caters to all occasions—from casual weekday meals to milestone celebrations.
In addition to Flour’s signature dishes—including handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and seasonal favorites—guests can expect a few exclusive menu items only available at Valor Acres, created to reflect the local flavor and the spirit of the growing Brecksville community.
The new restaurant will feature a dynamic bar program with Italian, French, and California wines, premium cocktails, and a robust non-alcoholic drink menu including mocktails and N/A spirits as well as a spacious outdoor patio with dining and lounge areas, complete with fire pits and flexible seating. The space will also feature a private dining room, perfect for corporate events, private dinners, or special occasions, with personalized service by the Flour Events & Catering team.
The decision to open in Valor Acres was deeply personal for Mytro and his family. “My wife and I have called Seven Hills home for the past decade. We’ve watched this area grow and we truly believe in its potential,” he says.
“Brecksville’s dining scene is vibrant but not oversaturated, which gives us a chance to create something exciting and lasting. Valor Acres, especially, felt like the perfect fit—it’s a well-planned, energetic development that connects residential neighborhoods with a growing business and hospitality community.”
Kevin DiGeronimo, principal at DiGeronimo Companies, echoed the excitement, "We’ve always envisioned Valor Acres as a place where exceptional local talent could thrive. Having Flour here is a dream come true. Matt’s vision, his energy, and the genuine way he connects with people all align perfectly with what we’re building. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a new anchor for the community."
Flour joins the Masu by Dante Boccuzzi, the newly opened DiGeronimo Companies headquarters, Canvas at Valor Acres, and Primer Coffee & Cocktails Bar. It will also be in close proximity to the soon-to-open Sherwin-Williams Research & Development headquarters and the upcoming AC Marriott.
Flour at Valor Acres is targeting an opening in Fall 2025.
