Lube Technician
Location: Independence, Ohio and Sterling, Virginia
A Lube Tech is responsible for fueling, greasing, performing preventive maintenance intervals, minor repairs on vehicles /equipment and various other functions, but not limited to:
- Under limited supervision, performs work of considerable difficulty in the maintenance of vehicles and equipment; performs related work as assigned
- Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Prepares and maintains records and reports
- May act as lead person in supervisor’s absence
Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:
- Fueling/Greasing equipment and performing PM intervals according to manufacturer’s maintenance manuals
- Safety practices and procedures
- Must be able to use a computer e.g. Windows, Microsoft Outlook
- Operation of vehicles and equipment
- Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds
- Work extended hours outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- 2 years of experience
- Overtime will be necessary during peak times
- Must have Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements
- Must be able to work all shifts and weekends
