Senior Network Systems Administrator

Location: Independence, Ohio

A Senior Network Systems Administrator is responsible for managing requirements gathering, prioritization efforts, scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and vendors, and contractual deliverables and various other functions including, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of reports for senior management regarding status of projects and operations
  • Accountable for managing multiple IT projects impacting multiple divisions
  • Responsible for leading acquisition / technology integration projects involving multiple internal team members and vendors, planning out hardware replacement to system and back office system integrations
  • Manages and maintains all relationships with internal helpdesk operations (including but not limited to); ticket management, relationship upkeep, product improvements, building relationships and project management of vendor integrations or upgrades
  • Other duties as assigned

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:   

  • Five or more years of technical support and admin experience, including a minimum of two years of resolving advanced issues
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent experience
  • Experience managing and maintaining server operating systems including Microsoft Windows 2008, Windows 2012 and Windows 2016
  • 3 or more years’ experience managing or supporting virtualized infrastructure
  • Demonstrated Experience or deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud Solutions including Office 365 and Azure
  • Demonstrated familiarity with wired and wireless networks, as well as with network and system security
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Focused and deliberate attention to details
  • Strong knowledge of various technologies
  • Experience in Helpdesk Operations, Network Operations, Server Operations and Project Management
