Certified Safety Professional

Location: Page, Arizona

A Certified Safety Professional is responsible for inspecting, evaluating workplace environments, equipment, practices for compliance with corporate / government health & safety standards and regulations and various other functions including, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for multiple job sites safety and health plans
  • Develop, implement, and inforce site specific health and safety plans
  • Leads in coordinating industrial hygiene compliance on job sites
  • Collects samples, interprets, understands, and provides compliance plans for hazards such as Silica, Lead, HexCr, etc.,etc
  • Conduct investigations of accidents, incidents, property damage and fatalities
  • Leads in updating department specific policy and procedural manuals
  • External safety-related inspections, follows up on required corrective action when warranted
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in safety related coursework or equivalent experience required or 5 or more years’ experience in construction safety or in a managerial position that required safety as part of your job responsibilities
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and CHSTs (Construction Health and Safety Technicians) required
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OSHA 510 preferred, but not required
  • Must have thorough knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and construction safety guidelines; knowledge MSHA is preferred but not required
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have problem solving skills and find solutions to unsafe working conditions and environmental concerns on our constantly changing jobsites
  • Experience managing inventory, purchasing, and budgets
  • This job is physically demanding and prospects must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Prospects must be able to work on project sites in all weather conditions
  • Willing to work onsite in Page, AZ for a 2-3 year project
